The vestibular system is the body’s internal balance centre. Located in the inner ear, it works together with your eyes, muscles, and joints to help you:

  • Maintain balance while standing, walking, or moving

  • Stabilise your vision so your surroundings stay clear when your head moves

  • Sense motion and spatial orientation, letting you know where your body is in space

When the vestibular system isn’t working properly, you may experience dizziness, vertigo, unsteadiness, or nausea. Its role is essential for safe, smooth, balanced movement in everyday life.

Testimonials

"I had been dizzy for a few weeks and had to give up on my Pilates classes. After 1 session with Laura my dizziness resolved and I felt so much better.
Laura was friendly and extremely knowledgeable, she diagnosed my problem as BPPV and treated it with a Epley Manoeuvre. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone suffering with dizzy symptoms."
